Application Requirements

Complete the following steps in order to have your application reviewed for admission to the University. Applications will not be considered complete until we receive all required materials.

First-time College Students

  • WES Course-by-Course Evaluation: This organization will evaluate your secondary school documents to determine your Grade Point Average. Please select University of Saint Francis as the recipient institution.
  • At least one of the following standardized test scores:

Transferring College Students

  • WES Course-by-Course Evaluation: This organization will evaluate your secondary and post-secondary school documents to determine your Grade Point Average. Please select University of Saint Francis as the recipient institution.
  • At least one of the following standardized test scores:
  • Official Transcripts from all previously-attended U.S. colleges.

Submitting an Essay

As a Franciscan institution we believe in getting to know you as an individual and making our admissions decision carefully and thoughtfully. Students who may not meet all criteria are still evaluated for acceptance upon receipt of an essay.

Essay Requirements

  • Your name and address information (prominently displayed on the first page)
  • Your reasons for wishing to attend the University of Saint Francis
  • Why you feel you would be successful at the University of Saint Francis
  • Your reasons for choosing your intended major
  • What you know about the profession
  • Discuss any low grades and your plan to improve

Healthcare Majors

Applying to our healthcare programs such as nursing, physical therapy assistant, pre-physicians assistant, radiologic technology, and surgical technology have additional program requirements.
