Student Employment

Students looking to supplement their income with part-time employment can do so through the following options:

Federal Work Study

A need-based program, work study is determined by a student’s FAFSA and awarded as part of the financial aid package. Work-study students earn current minimum wage. Once granted, the student will be directed to complete an application in order to secure a position. USF’s Career Outreach Center will assist students in finding positions.

On-Campus Employment

This non-need-based program gives students the opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week (for current minimum wage) on campus. A variety of options are available and once enrolled, students will be directed to specific employment opportunities.
